KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – July 30, 2026 – Tredwell has formalised a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with P-Excell Management Sdn. Bhd., a Terengganu State Government-linked company (GLC). The partnership aims to accelerate the growth of Terengganu as Malaysia’s premier center for upstream oil and gas technology, innovation, and high-value industrial manufacturing.
Building on Terengganu’s long-standing role as the heart of Malaysia’s energy sector, this strategic collaboration goes beyond traditional operations to establish a comprehensive domestic energy technology ecosystem.
Under the MoU framework, Tredwell and P-Excell Management will collaborate to:
Advance Upstream Technology: Foster localized research and development (R&D), product engineering, testing, and manufacturing tailored to complex downhole and well operations.
Develop Malaysian Talent: Expand technical skill sets, build local engineering capabilities, and create high-value job opportunities within the state.
Attract Global Partners: Bridge international technological expertise with local infrastructure to build regional capabilities.
Strengthen Industrial Capabilities: Complement ongoing regional initiatives—including Tredwell’s recent strategic alliance with Weatherford—to serve operators in Malaysia and across the broader Asia-Pacific market.
The MoU signing ceremony was led by YBM Tengku Seri Bijaya Raja, Non-Executive Chairman of Tredwell, and YB Haji Hilmi Harun, Chairman of P-Excell Management Sdn. Bhd., whose joint leadership and vision laid the groundwork for this partnership.
Tredwell extends its sincere gratitude to the Terengganu State Government and key industry stakeholders for their ongoing support in driving national energy industrial growth. Both organizations remain dedicated to turning this shared vision into lasting, sustainable impact for the region.
